Other Tools
You will find in this web page all the colorspace modules and
the different softwares which are not included in the colorspace
distribution.
All these tools are only used internally in my lab (or by my students).
.: Chromatic Adaptation :.
This colorspace module allows to transform the image color information
using a chromatic adaptation process (several chromatic adaptation
matrices are available XYZScaling, Bradford, Von Kries, Sharp and
CMCCAT 2000).
This module is now available in ColorSpace.

.: Color Axis Transformation :.
This colorspace module allows to transform the global statistic of a
color image according the statistic of an other image.
This module is now available in ColorSpace.

.: Spatiocolorimetric Data Visualization :.
Color image information could be represented by a 5D vector including
color and spatial information. This allows us to consider
spatiocolorimetric aspect of color. We will use these 5D vectors to
display the color image information.

.: Chromatic Motion Visualization :.
In order to see the chromatic comportment of an image when the
lighting condition and/or when the sensor change we have a specific
visualization software. This software allows us to follow color change
in a stack of images.

Per color motion: We can display here the chromatic change of a
single or a group of pixels. We get one segment between each image;
the final result is for each pixel a 3D chromatic path.

Per region motion: This method allows us to display the chromatic motion of images regions. The previous method may display too much information; using the chromatic mean of each region deliver a synthetic view of the chromatic motion.

Histogram motion: This method can be used to have a synthesis of the chromatic motions of an image. In order to display the chromatic paths corresponding to this method we compute in a first time the image histogram then we determine the chromatic behavior of the corresponding regions in the images stack.

The chromatic comportment of video clip can be visualized by using this specific software which allows us to read and play a video file.
